The blades are reversible: one side is Washed Oak Oak and the other side is Matt Maple. This model is a "Flush Mount" fixing which means that it requires Conversion Kit if a drop-rod is used. (22mm diameter) It can be used in summer for cooling and for the winter, the blades can be set to rotate in the opposite direction to re-circulate the warm air that has risen.This can make you central heating more efficient. The pull cords are to operate the three fan speeds and the lights as well. A remote control is available for that extra bit of luxury.
